Our History
Lincoln Trail Baptist Church was started as a result of the burden that God gave to Clays Mill Road Baptist Church and Dr. Jeff Fugate of Lexington, Kentucky. With a desire to see 50 churches started in the Commonwealth during Dr. Fugate's ministry, LTBC opened her doors with a grand opening on Sunday, September 16th, 2001. With a humble beginning of a double wide trailer, a horse trough used as a baptistry, gravel parking lot and 3 1/2 acres...now LTBC has a 9,000 square foot building that includes a 200 seat auditorium and a full walkout basement that serves as a fellowship hall, offices, nursery and Sunday School classrooms.
LTBC is a church travelling the "Old Paths" (Jeremiah 6:16) of Soul Winning, Bible Preaching, Traditional Worship, Seperation from the World's influence in culture in the daily life of a Christian, and an uncompromising stand for the King James Bible. If you're looking for an old fashion church where you can worship and serve God then come give us a visit this Sunday!
